Shahana now learns to sit...

At 5 months old, Shahana is already quite a handful! Now she is learning to sit on her own and also turn over while lying down. And her vocabulary has increased manifold......from the "angaa" and "agooo", she has graduated to "tatataatatatatata" "nininininininini" "mumumum", etc.

And yes, she is now very aware that everyone is pampering her and she knows how to make the most of it...and to top it all she also knows just when to use those "false" crying bouts.....

Mama's Baby!

I have received some feedback from a lot of my friends, that why is Mama (Anshu) always behind the scene..

Well that is because Anshu is an excellent mama and she is always busy taking care of the home, the baby and me :) And so she usually does not find too much time to blog and all that..

But soon she will be doing a lot of it and will be putting up a lot of anecdotes and experiences of motherhood... Keep watching...

A little leaky.....but a whole lot of fun....

Now that my darling baby is back from Palwal, to her home sweet home, my evenings have completely changed. Now I indulge myself in a lot of happy-nappy moments.... ANd for some reason my angel thinks that pee-pee and papa have some very close connection! And she always makes that connection by ensuring the pee-pee on papa!

And then flashes that 1000 watt smile which ensures all is forgiven :)

Anshu, Anand, Shahana

Shahana is now 2+ months old.

Shahana is now 2.5 months old and is becoming more and more naughty with each day. She now responds to sounds and especially when called, and likes to interact with everyone with her "goo-goo-gaa-gaa" gibberish and charm them with her million watt smile :)
She has now also begun to balance her neck, which takes away a major concern while lifting her, of course everyone is extra careful.
She likes here space and does not like it if she is constricted too much by clothes or people, etc. She just loves to lie around and kick in the air (she kicks away her blankets, much to the concern of her mom!)

I guess only a matter of time before she begins to talk and that would be the beginning of the real fun times...
